Steel Types
High Carbon/High Chrome: This steel type is used for shear cutting and it has excellent wear resistance. It is widely used as upper and lower knives for stitcher trimmers. (Note: only steel type available for lower knives in stitcher trimmers).
High Speed Steel: High speed steel provides excellent cutting quality and longevity. Each knife has a T1 inlay with high tungsten content.
High Speed Steel (Fassco): Fassco is a German knife manufacturer well-known in the paper industry. These knives are a higher quality high speed steel. They have a wider inlay for more sharpening's, and tempered 3x for increased durability.
