Static Generators
Static Generation involves the controlled creation of static charge on a non-conductive material, enabling temporary adhesion between surfaces of opposite polarity. The process begins with a static generator power supply, which safely produces up to 50,000 volts. This voltage is then directed to a static generator bar or pinning head, where it connects to an array of emitter pins and induces the formation of a "corona" discharge. The material intended to be bonded is introduced into the vicinity of the "corona," resulting in its bonding to a grounded surface or the other material. This process has many uses in printing, packaging, plastics, converting and other applications. See below to learn more about our industrial static generating solutions.
